AEEF Success Story

By managing an Endowment and partnering with Engineering Societies, AEEF has made a significant contribution to Alaska’s engineering future by offering scholarships to some of the State’s brightest high school students entering college engineering programs. Since 2000, AEEF has offered over $4031,900 scholarships to over 274 graduating high school seniors and is awarding over $25,000 per year on behalf of like-minded partners.

Coming out of the pandemic, AEEF hopes to see growth in contributions to support our youth and the future of Engineering. However, both the number of applications and donations are still suppressed below pre-pandemic values. With the continued growth and donations, donations the AEEF Scholarship Program hopes to eclipse $30,000 in awards per year by 2025.
